On 10/9/2007 , the vessel CAPE HEARNE (Official Number 826833) was involved in a striking - allision with a fixed object (striking - includes berthed/docked vessels) in EASTERN LAKE ON, ONTARIO (ON).

The vessel, with 4 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was pollution.

On 09 Oct 2007, while conducting maintenance on a buoy in eastern Lake Ontario, the Canadian Coast Guard V/L "CAPE HEARNE" struck the buoy, causing damage to the V/L and buoy.
