On 11/18/2003, the vessel ATLANTIC OSPREY (Official Number 824923) was involved in a person seriously injured or killed - in contact with any part of the ship or its contents in GULF OF MEXICO,.

The vessel, with 11 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was none pollution.

This incident was officially recorded by Transport Canada on 12/22/2003. Weather at the time was reported as clear with winds from the NW at 20.00 knots.

Deck hand was hit by tow line and sustained back injury. Victim medevaced.
