On 5/28/2005 , the vessel MACKENZIE'S DREAM (Official Number 824295) was involved in a sank - flooding in 123 NM NE OF ST. JOHN'S, NL, NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR (NL).

The vessel, with 7 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was none pollution.

This incident was officially recorded by Transport Canada on 6/22/2005 . Weather at the time was reported as overcast with winds from the SE at 30.00 knots.

On 28 May 2005, the F/V "MACKENZIES DREAM" was reported on fire with 7 POB. The crew abandoned into liferafts and were rescued safely about two hours later.
