On 1/31/2008 , the vessel COTE-NORD (Official Number 822153) was involved in a person seriously injured or killed - boarding, being on board, falling overboard from the ship in ST. LAWRENCE RIVER, QC, QUEBEC (QC).
The vessel, with 3 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was pollution.

On 31 January 2008, off the pilot station Les Escoumins, Quebec, in the St. Lawrence River, a pilot fell in the water whilst boarding the tanker "Cap Diamant". The pilot was retrieved by the crew of the pilot boat "COTE NORD".
