On 5/18/2009 , the vessel STEF & TAHN II (Official Number 821459) was involved in a person seriously injured or killed - in contact with any part of the ship or its contents in CAPE SABLE ISLAND, NS, NOVA SCOTIA (NS).
The vessel, with 3 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was none pollution.

On 18 May 2009, F/V "STEF & TAHN II" reported that a crew member had been hit in the forehead with an anchor. The vessel was 4 nm SW of Cape Sable Island, N.S. CCGC assisted vessel and transported the crewman to shore where he was taken to hospital.
