On 4/10/2008 , the vessel GIMME SHELTER I (Official Number 819799) was involved in a sustains damage render unseaworthy/unfit for purpose - unfit for purpose - ice, weather, etc. in OFF CAPE NORTH, NS, NOVA SCOTIA (NS).

The vessel, with 5 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was unknown pollution.
