On 4/14/2005 , the vessel SAMBRO (Official Number 819305) was involved in a striking - allision with a fixed object (striking - includes berthed/docked vessels) in SAMBRO HARBOUR, NS., NOVA SCOTIA (NS).

The vessel, with 4 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was unknown pollution.

This incident was officially recorded by Transport Canada on 5/11/2005 . Weather at the time was reported as clear with winds from the NNE at 17.00 knots.

On 14 April 2005 CCGC Sambro made contact with two fishing vessels tied up alongside while trying to dock. No damage reported.
