The vessel, with 5 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was unknown pollution.

This incident was officially recorded by Transport Canada on 10/3/2005 . Weather at the time was reported as clear.

The F/V "MIDNIGHT SHADOW" with 5 POB was reported aground near the entrance to Durell Harbour. The vessel was subsequently towed off the shoal and secured in Durell. No reports of damage.
