On 30 May 2016, the fishing vessel "BROADBILL I", with 3 people on board, collided with the fishing vessel "LOIS N. II", with 5 people on board, 2.5 nautical miles SE of Port La Tour, NS. The "LOIS N. II" took on water and sank. All 5 people on board abandoned to the "BROADBILL I" and were taken to Stoney Island, NS. No injuries were reported.. Damage to the vessel was indicated as MINOR
