On 7/28/2005 , the vessel COASTAL EXPLORER (Official Number 817980) was involved in a total failure of any machinery or technical system in OFF GILLIVER'S HEAD, DIGBY NECK, N.S., NOVA SCOTIA (NS).

The vessel, with 12 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was none pollution.
