On 4/13/2005 , the vessel ATLANTIC SPRUCE (Official Number 817863) was involved in a striking - allision with a fixed object (striking - includes berthed/docked vessels) in ROUND REEF LL# 5102.16 (J16),SAINT JOHN HBR.,.

The vessel, with 4 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was none pollution.

This incident was officially recorded by Transport Canada on 4/20/2005 . Weather at the time was reported as clear with winds from the SW at 10.00 knots.

While moving barge tied alongside vessel, the tug struck the buoy J16. No damage reported.
