On 9/5/1996 1, the vessel DADDY'S GIRL NO.1 (Official Number 816649) was involved in a risk of sinking in ABOUT 5.5 M SOUTH OF SOURIS HARBOUR, PEI.,.

The vessel, with 3 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was none pollution.

This incident was officially recorded by Transport Canada on 11/12/1996. Weather at the time was reported as clear with winds from the NNW at 10.00 knots.

It was reported that "Daddy's Girl No.1" was taking on water and required assistance. The CGC "Souris" escorted the vessel into port where the water was pumped out. There were no injuries and no damage to the vessel was reported.
