On 3/27/2012 , the vessel PACIFIC VIKING (Official Number 812796) was involved in a grounding - under power (non-intentional) in LAMA PASS, BRITISH COLUMBIA (BC).
The vessel, with 7 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was none pollution.

On 27 March 2012 the F/V "PACIFIC VIKING" ran aground in Lama Pass BC. The F/V came off the beach and is now being repaired.
