The vessel, with 3 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was pollution.

This incident was officially recorded by Transport Canada on 8/15/1997 . Weather at the time was reported as clear with winds from the NW at 20.00 knots.

F.V. went aground with 4 POB. Vessel later reported taking on water; however, pumps were able to cope. Vessel assisted off rocks and escorted to Campbell River by tug "Regent".
