On 5/29/2007 , the vessel LADY KRISTEN I (Official Number 812178) was involved in a grounding - under power (non-intentional) in OFF SEACOW HEAD, PEI, PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND (PE).
The vessel, with 3 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was unknown pollution.
This incident was officially recorded by Transport Canada on 5/30/2007 . Weather at the time was reported as clear with winds from the NW at 10.00 knots.
On 29 May 2007, F/V Lady Kristen I reported aground off Seacow Head, P.E.I. Requested tow off. F/V was refloated with the assistance of the FRC from CCGC Cap Nord later that evening.
