On 9/16/2002 , the vessel GRAND FINALE (Official Number 811434) was involved in a collision - with another vessel or other floating object in OFF CARIBOU HARBOUR, NS, NOVA SCOTIA (NS).

The vessel, with 3 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was none pollution.

F/V collided with barge under tow. Fishing vessel sustained heavy damage but made it to port. Call for help was sent on cell phone. Tug did not notice collision involving her tow and kept sailing.
