On 06 May 2020, the aquaculture vessel "ADAM S" was moored, with nobody on board, when smoke was noticed coming from the wheelhouse. Aquaculture workers tried to extinguish the fire with 2 fire extinguishers, but were not able to do so. The fire department was notified and responded with pumps. The fire was extinguished and the vessel was towed to the beach.
