On 7/10/2008 , the vessel A.M.E. BINAME (Official Number 810511) was involved in a grounding - under power (non-intentional) in BEAR ISLAND, MCKENZIE RIVER, NT, NORTHWEST TERRITORIES (NT).
The vessel, with 2 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was pollution.
