On 6/26/2001 , the vessel MISS MARIE (Official Number 809830) was involved in a sank - flooding in 64 NM ENE OF ST. ANTHONY, NEWFOUNDLAND, NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR (NL).

The F/V "MISS MARIE" reported it was taking on water and sinking. The 5 POB abandoned the vessel into liferafts and were picked up by the F/V "GRAND MARINER II". The vessel eventually sank.. Damage to the vessel was indicated as TOTAL LOSS
