On 4/30/2012 , the vessel SLIP KNOT (Official Number 809817) was involved in a person seriously injured or killed - boarding, being on board, falling overboard from the ship in GRAND MANAN, NB, NEW BRUNSWICK (NB).
The vessel, with 0 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was none pollution.

On 30 April 2012, at 1545 ADST, the captain of the F/V "SLIP KNOT" fell overboard while hauling lobster gear 1.5 nm South of Seal Cove. A nearby F/V retrieved the unconscious captain but he did not survive.
