On 3/25/1988 , the vessel KISO (Official Number 8064) was involved in a striking - allision with a fixed object (striking - includes berthed/docked vessels) in CENTENNIAL TERMINAL, VANCOUVER HARBOUR, B.C.,.

The vessel, with 26 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was none pollution.

This incident was officially recorded by Transport Canada on 4/18/1988 . Weather at the time was reported as rain.
