On 2/11/1988 , the vessel MERCURY COVE (Official Number 8061) was involved in a total failure of any machinery or technical system in A L'OUEST DE L'ILE BLANCHE,FL.ST-LAURENT,QUE.,.

The vessel, with 24 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was none pollution.
