On 6/11/2010 , the vessel THUNDER I (Official Number 804807) was involved in a grounding - under power (non-intentional) in METLAKATLA PASSAGE, BC, BRITISH COLUMBIA (BC).
The vessel, with 2 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was none pollution.

On 11 June 2010, eco-tourism charter vessel "THUNDER I" ran aground in Metlakatla Passage, B.C. CCG vessel "POINT HENRY" removed 7 passengers. The vessel refloated on the next tide.
