On 7/8/2004 1, the vessel SPIRIT OF ONTARIO (Official Number 800735) was involved in a striking - allision with a fixed object (striking - includes berthed/docked vessels) in TORONTO HARBOUR, ONTARIO (ON).

The vessel, with 32 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was pollution.

On 08 July 2004, at 1824 while berthing in SW wind &swell at the Toronto Passenger Terminal, the ro-ro passenger vessel"SPIRIT OF ONTARIO" struck the dock with port bow forefoot and suffered minor damage.
