On 5/25/2007 , the vessel NORWEGIAN SUN (Official Number 800245) was involved in a person seriously injured or killed - in contact with any part of the ship or its contents in DIXON ENTRANCE, B.C., BRITISH COLUMBIA (BC).
The vessel, with 931 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was none pollution.

On 25 May 2007, the cruise ship "NORWEGIAN SUN" reported a crew member sustained serious injuries. The Canadian Coast Guard V/L "POINT HENRY" transported the individual to Prince Rupert.
