On 5/17/2007 , the vessel NORWEGIAN STAR (Official Number 8000359) was involved in a fire in DIXON ENTRANCE, B.C., BRITISH COLUMBIA (BC).
The vessel, with 1091 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was pollution.
