On 8/28/2007 , the vessel GEROI SHIRONINTSY (Official Number 790395) was involved in a person seriously injured or killed - in contact with any part of the ship or its contents in WEST OF CALVERT ISLAND, B.C., BRITISH COLUMBIA (BC).

The vessel, with 81 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was none pollution.

This incident was officially recorded by Transport Canada on 9/5/2007 8. Weather at the time was reported as rain with winds from the SE at 37.00 knots.

On 28 August 2007, the V/L "GEROI SHIRONINTSY" reported a crew member sustained a severe injury, while en route west of Calvert Island, B.C. The crew member was airlifted for emergency medical treatment.
