On 10/2/2004 , the vessel VINDEMIA (Official Number 7821) was involved in a total failure of any machinery or technical system in SECTION 110, PORT OF MONTREAL, QUEBEC (QC).

The vessel, with 12 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was none pollution.

This incident was officially recorded by Transport Canada on 10/4/2004 . Weather at the time was reported as fog with winds from the SSE at 18.00 knots.

While proceedeing downbound the tanker vessel "VINDEMIA" sustained a total black out. The electrical power was restored shortly thereafter.
