On 11/23/2002, the vessel ARNARBORG (Official Number 7324376) was involved in a grounding - under power (non-intentional) in ENTRANCE TO ST. JOHN'S HARBOUR, NFLD, NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR (NL).

The vessel, with 16 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. There were 0 injuries and fatalities were reported, and there was unknown pollution.

The F/V "ARNARBORG" was reported to have run aground at North Head while entering the narrows in St. John's Harbour. The vessel subsequently refloated itself and proceeded in to St. John's. No reports of damage or pollution.. Damage to the vessel was indicated as MINOR

Weather at the time was reported as fog with winds from the SSW at 7.00 knots. This incident was officially recorded by Transport Canada on 11/25/2002.
