On 3/31/2003 , the vessel FEDERAL SCHELDE (Official Number 725442) was involved in a striking - allision with a fixed object (striking - includes berthed/docked vessels) in SECTION 50, PORT DE QUEBEC, QUEBEC (QC).

The vessel, with 22 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was none pollution.

This incident was officially recorded by Transport Canada on 4/9/2003 8. Weather at the time was reported as clear with winds from the NW at 12.00 knots.

While coming alongside the berth, the "FEDERAL SCHELDE" broke the fluke of its Stbd anchor.
