On 9/22/1987 , the vessel BLUESTONE (Official Number 707932) was involved in a striking - allision with a fixed object (striking - includes berthed/docked vessels) in ECLUSE #3,BEAUHARNOIS LOCK.,.

The vessel, with 25 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was none pollution.

This incident was officially recorded by Transport Canada on 4/28/1995 . Weather at the time was reported as clear with winds from the NE at 10.00 knots.
