On 12/19/1992, the vessel SANKO EXPRESS (Official Number 6746) was involved in a total failure of any machinery or technical system in OFF IMPERIAL OIL DOCK, HALIFAX HARBOUR, N.S.,.

The vessel, with 25 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was none pollution.
