On 12/23/2018, the vessel FEDERAL COLUMBIA (Official Number 6471) was involved in a person seriously injured or killed - in contact with any part of the ship or its contents in In Hamilton Harbour, ON., ONTARIO (ON).
The vessel, with 22 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was none pollution.

At about 23h50 on 23 December 2018, a crew member of the bulk carrier “FEDERAL COLUMBIA” was injured by the vessel’s moorings while shifting alongside Dock 25 South in Hamilton, ON. The injured crew member was medevaced to a local hospital.
