On 8/27/2009 , the vessel ALEUTIAN FALCON (Official Number 642161) was involved in a person seriously injured or killed - boarding, being on board, falling overboard from the ship in CAPE MUDGE, STRAIT OF GEORGIA, BC, BRITISH COLUMBIA (BC).

The vessel, with 108 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. There were No injuries but 1 fatalities were reported, and there was pollution.

On 27 August 2009, the U.S.-registered factory trawler "ALEUTIAN TRAWLER" reported a person overboard while passing Cape Mudge. The body was recovered off Robson Bight, B.C. by kayakers on August 28 and handed over to the RCMP.. Damage to the vessel was indicated as
