On 5/24/1985 , the vessel STOLT AVENIR (Official Number 6297) was involved in a person seriously injured or killed - in contact with any part of the ship or its contents in W COAST-BC-KITIMAT-OCELOT TERMINAL,.

The vessel, with 33 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was pollution.
