On 11/7/1998 , the vessel NIMET (Official Number 6145) was involved in a person seriously injured or killed - in contact with any part of the ship or its contents in SAINT-JOHN HARBOUR, N.B.,.
The vessel, with 21 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was pollution.

During berthing with tug, the bow of the ship swung to stbd, tension occured on fwd line. The line released from the windlass warping head and injured the bosun.
