On 5/30/2009 , the vessel BRO ALMA (Official Number 51755) was involved in a total failure of any machinery or technical system in ST. LAWRENCE RIVER, QC, QUEBEC (QC).

The vessel, with 18 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was none pollution.
