On 6/10/2018 , the vessel SLOMAN HELIOS (Official Number 5158) was involved in a total failure of any machinery or technical system in Gros Morne, QC, QUEBEC (QC).
The vessel, with 17 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations.
No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was none pollution.
On 10 June 2018, the product/chemical tanker "SLOMAN HELIOS" sustained a blackout 15.5 nautical miles N of Gros Morne, QC. The crew carried out the repairs and the vessel resumed its voyage.. Damage to the vessel was indicated as UNKNOWN
