On 12/26/1998, the vessel GREEN TUNDRA (Official Number 5073) was involved in a striking - allision with a fixed object (striking - includes berthed/docked vessels) in CANSO CANAL, N.S.,.

The vessel, with 20 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was none pollution.

This incident was officially recorded by Transport Canada on 1/5/1999 8. Weather at the time was reported as clear with winds from the WSW at 6.00 knots.

Canso Canal reports vessel came in contact with knuckle and wall while entering the canal from the south. No damage to the canal. Minor damage to the bow of the ship.
