On 1/25/2014 , the vessel CAP BLANCHE (Official Number 4552) was involved in a grounding - under power (non-intentional) in Steveston Bend, BC, BRITISH COLUMBIA (BC).

The vessel, with 18 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was none pollution.

On 25 January 2014, the container vessel “CAP BLANCHE” was inbound from Sandheads for Fraser Surrey Docks when the vessel grounded near Steveston, BC. The vessel was able to refloat itself without the assistance of tugs and proceeded to the berth. No reports of pollution or injuries.. Damage to the vessel was indicated as NONE APPARENT
