On 3/21/2015 , the vessel WESTERN PACIFIC (Official Number 395766) was involved in a person seriously injured or killed - in contact with any part of the ship or its contents in St John Harbour, BRITISH COLUMBIA (BC).

The vessel, with 5 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. There were 1 injuries but no fatalities were reported, and there was none pollution.

On 21 March 2015, the fishing vessel "WESTERN PACIFIC", with 5 people on board, broke its vanging shock/cable which then struck and injured the master, in Milbanke Sound, BC. The master was transported to Bella Bella, BC where he was hospitalized.. Damage to the vessel was indicated as MINOR
