On 4/11/2000 , the vessel DEHORSEY KID (Official Number 393215) was involved in a sank - founders (taking on water above the waterline) in SIMPSON ROCK, BC, BRITISH COLUMBIA (BC).

The vessel, with 2 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was pollution.

This incident was officially recorded by Transport Canada on 4/12/2000 . Weather at the time was reported as clear with winds from the NE at 5.00 knots.

Vessel reported hitting rocks and taking on water. Vessel towed to shore by CCGC "PT HENRY" & "PT HENRY II" for attempted repairs. POB safe.
