On 5/30/2016 , the vessel LOIS N. II (Official Number 392282) was involved in a sank - flooding in Port La Tour, NS, NOVA SCOTIA (NS).

The vessel, with 2 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was unknown pollution.

On 30 May 2016, the fishing vessel "BROADBILL I", with 3 people on board, collided with the fishing vessel "LOIS N. II", with 5 people on board, 2.5 nautical miles SE of Port La Tour, NS. The "LOIS N. II" took on water and sank. All 5 people on board abandoned to the "BROADBILL I" and were taken to Stoney Island, NS. No injuries were reported.. Damage to the vessel was indicated as TOTAL LOSS

Weather at the time was reported as fog with winds from the SW at knots. This incident was officially recorded by Transport Canada on 5/30/2016 .
