On 3/22/2018 , the vessel PITT LAD (Official Number 392182) was involved in a sank - founders (taking on water above the waterline) in Chatham Reach, Mouth of the Pitt River, BRITISH COLUMBIA (BC).

On 22 March 2018, the tug "PITT LAD", with no one on board, took on water and sank while moored to a log boom being towed by the tug "HARKEN NO. 6" in the Fraser River, BC. The tug was subsequently salvaged and removed from the river.
