On 10/5/2011 , the vessel WARNOC (NIGHTSHIFT) (Official Number 391864) was involved in a sank - founders (taking on water above the waterline) in CLIO BAY, BRITISH COLUMBIA (BC).
The vessel, with 3 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was minor pollution.
This incident was officially recorded by Transport Canada on 10/5/2011 . Weather at the time was reported as overcast with winds from the NW at 15.00 knots.
On 5 October 2011 the tug "WARNOC" sunk while tending a log barge. The 3 POB were recovered by the tug "SEASPAN COMMODORE".
