On 3/19/1987 , the vessel FOREMOST (Official Number 372407) was involved in a sank - founders (taking on water above the waterline) in 1/4MI S OF SAND HEADS,FRASER RIV ENTRANCE,B.C.,.

The vessel, with 3 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was none pollution.

This incident was officially recorded by Transport Canada on 10/11/1988. Weather at the time was reported as clear with winds from the NW at 27.00 knots.
