On 7/20/2015 , the vessel SCOTIA PROVIDER (Official Number 372323) was involved in a sank - flooding in Cape Forchu, NS, NOVA SCOTIA (NS).

The vessel, with 3 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was major pollution.

On 20 July 2015, the fishing vessel "SCOTIA PROVIDER" was reported taking on water in the engine room. The 3 crewmembers abandoned into a liferaft and were recovered by a Search and Rescue helicopter. The vessel subsequently sank. No injuries reported. . Damage to the vessel was indicated as TOTAL LOSS
