On 23 February 2017, the loaded barge "MILLER 308", with no one on board and while being repositioned by the main tug "CROFTON PRINCE II" and an assisting tug "BLACKIE S", struck a jetty near Esquimalt Harbour, BC due to the main tug's auxiliary control failure. The company replaced the defective auxiliary controls. Damage to the barge's hull and to the jetty was reported.
