On 7/10/1977 , the vessel SCOTIA ROVER (Official Number 371110) was involved in a striking - allision with a fixed object (striking - includes berthed/docked vessels) in NS-YARMOUTH HARBOUR-ENTRANCE SW BUOY,.

The vessel, with 4 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was none pollution.

This incident was officially recorded by Transport Canada on 7/22/1977 . Weather at the time was reported as fog with winds from the NW at 6.00 knots.
