On 5/21/2001 , the vessel SEA CHRIS (Official Number 370964) was involved in a sank - founders (taking on water above the waterline) in WEST OF KENNINGTON COVE, NS, NOVA SCOTIA (NS).

The vessel, with 2 persons on board, experienced the incident while engaged in regular operations. Fortunately, the ship was able to continue its voyage. No injuries or fatalities were reported, and there was none pollution.
